Sayles , C. MichaelMichael died on February 22, 2017 at his Pelham, AL home. Michael was born on May 5, 1964 in Stevens Point, WI to Johanna (Suski) and Thomas Sayles. Michael was a 1982 graduate of SPASH, excelling in choir and theater. He was a member of CWACT before moving to Alabama in 1984. He was also a graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Michael was a Computer Specialist in Medical Records at the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Birmingham, AL for over 25 years. Michael is survived by his mother, Jo (Suski) Mansavage, Amherst, WI, father Thomas Sayles, AL, siblings, Christa (Bryce Walsh), Carla (Tom) Hoppe, Gail (Terry) Wiegert, Gary (Kathy) Mansavage and his Witte families in Alabama.Michael was preceded in death by his partner, Mark Witte, step-father Lawrence Mansavage, Godmother, Judi Pitt, maternal grandparents Leonard and Ann Suski, paternal Grandparents Ben and Agnes Sayles. A celebration of Mike's life is being held at his place of employment, the VA Hospital in Birmingham. A private Prayer Service is being held for his immediate family. A plaque/marker will be placed at the Suski plot in the Fancher Cemetery.
