Butch Orona, 87 of Salinas CA Passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014. He was born on August, 11, 1927 in Barstow Texas. Butch was equipment operator at Boutonnet Farms for 38 years. He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandkids. His favorite pastime was enjoying walking at the flea market and enjoying a BBQ at Toro Park with his family. He enjoyed taking strolls around Salinas. Butch was a good and wise man, a man who loved and helped many people no matter if they've done good or bad in their life, a man that expected nothing in, a man who brought out the good in everyone. A man who will always be remembered as a father, grandfather and great grandfather to many. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his wife Margarita Orona. Butch is survived by his daughters Virginia and Nellie Orona, son in-law Samuel T. Aceves; Grandchildren Caroline and Santos Calderon, Judy and Andrew Marlow, Mario, Alejandro and Kristina Aceves; 6 Great grandchildren; Niece and Nephew Ciria and Ruben Gurule from Monterey. Butch also fostered many children.
