It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bryon Elder, beloved husband, father, and friend. Bryon was born on August 16, 1974, in Brooklyn, New York, to Bob and Leona Linen.

Bryon was a devoted husband to his wife Tiffany Elder, whom he married in the year 13. Together, they raised seven children: Dawn, Bryon Elder II (spouse Angela), Daneen Elder, Craig Comp (spouse Katrina), Jim Derby (spouse Kristine), Debbie Rider (spouse Pete), and David Derby (spouse Bonnie).

Bryon studied at Blue Mountain Academy high school before continuing his education at Southern Missionary College and ended with a degree in theology.

Surviving in addition to his wife and children is three siblings Latiesha Linen, Lamont Linen and Jermaine Elder, as well as eight grandchildren and five step grandchildren.

Bryon will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor touched the lives of many. May he rest in peace.
