In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to cancer research organizations in honor of Bruce's memory. This cause was particularly close to his heart as he believed in the importance of advancing medical research to help others facing similar battles.

A private family memorial will be held to celebrate Bruce's life and legacy. His ashes will be spread at a later date in a location meaningful to him and his family.
