Hennes, Bruce J.Bruce J. Hennes, age 64, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Century Oaks under the care of Affinity Hospice. Bruce was born on September 20, 1952 to the late Harold and Lola (Garvey) Hennes in Killeen, Texas. Bruce is survived by his wife, Julie Cherf; his six siblings; Connie (Mike) Pynenberg, Louise Hennes, Amy (Randy) DeBruin, Maureen (Gary) Gottschalk, Mark (Carol) Hennes and Mary (Dan) Szafranski; brother-in-law, Robert (Laura) Cherf and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Colleen Hennes and his nephew, Maxwell Hennes. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at ST. MARY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH, N2385 Municipal Drive in Greenville. Visitation will take place on Saturday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service with Fr. Dane Radecki officiating. In lieu of flowers, Bruce's family will be establishing a memorial fund and forwarding those donations to various organizations that Bruce was involved with.
