Brenda Lee Thomas, age 58 of Detroit, Mi passed away peacefully on July 25, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Thomas,  brothers Robert and Tyler McDonald. She is survived by her children whom she loved dearly, Charles McDonald, Franklin McDonald (Frank), grandchildren who she cared for and adored, De’Arre, Charles Jr (C.J.), Jayln, Andy, Kyle, and Ashley and daughter-in-law Latresha McDonald. 

Brenda was a dedicated nurse at Henry Ford Hospital and lovingly served for 20 years. She volunteered for many of the middle and high schools as a lunch aide and attended countless charity events around the city. Brenda’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was such a kind woman who would help anybody at anytime. The world lost a great person. I’m sure she will be living through all of the people she touched while she was here. 

The Reverend Wesley Watkins will celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday August 3, 2019 at 10 AM at O.H. Pye, III Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be on August 3 from 9:30 AM -10 AM.
