July 9, 1957 - November 23, 2016 Brenda Gail Findlay, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at her home in Marysville, Washington. Brenda was born on July 9, 1957 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, the daughter of Lewis Pete Jones and Shirley Lorraine Dail. Brenda graduated from North Eastern High school in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and studied nursing at University of the State of New York Regents. She married Michael Findlay in December of 1980 and became mother to two twin girls in August of 1983. Brenda worked as a registered nurse at Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, Washington for over 20 years. She attended Sisco Heights Community Church and Bible Study Fellowship for many years. Brenda is survived by her husband, Michael Findlay; her two daughters, Heather (Nate) Baker and Brianna (Brian) Nelson; five grandchildren, Asher Baker, Ben Baker, Nathaniel Nelson, Ruby Nelson, and Andrew Nelson; three nephews, Michael Sowinski, Darrell Schell, and Joshua Sowinski; her niece, Theresa Sowinski; her sister, Patricia McGowen; and numerous aunts, an uncle, and cousins. Brenda is predeceased by her parents, Lewis Jones and Shirley Dail Jones; her sister, Blanca Schell; and her brother, Darrell Jones. A service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on December 4, 2016 at Sisco Heights Community Church, 15029 McElroy Rd, Arlington, WA 98223.
