We are saddened to announce the passing of Brenda Ellis on June 18, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born on August 7, 1953 in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Brenda was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always there for her family offering love, support, and guidance. She had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her many plants, watching sports, reading, and solving sudoku puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters Terri Smith, Tonya Torres, Tracey Ellis and Ashley Robinette; grandchildren Anthony Ellis, Brandon Wallace, Tierney Harris, Margo Robinette, Frazier Robinette, and Celeste Robinette; son-in-law Robert Robinette; and sister Dorothy Shaw. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother Ernestine Anderson and brother Curtis Jenkins.

Although she may be gone, Brenda's spirit will live on through her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A private family service will be held.
