It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Braxton Williamson, who was born on 05/21/2010 and left this world on 10/06/2025 in Pangboche, Koshi, Nepal. He was the beloved child of Maxwell Taylor and Kyndall Bennett, and a loving spouse to Tenzing Norgay, whom he married in 1992. Braxton is survived by his only child, Phurba Sherpa, who followed in his footsteps and made a name for themselves in the world.

Braxton Williamson studied at Sherpa High School, graduating in 2014, before continuing their education at Sherpa University and graduating in 2018. Following in their father's footsteps, they worked at Mount Everest and retired in 2025, having made an impact on the Sherpa community through their volunteer work. Braxton williamson also served in the army as a colonel in the 21 unit for 8 years, demonstrating bravery and dedication in all that they did.

Braxton Williamson was known for his outgoing personality, love for talking to Sherpa people, and his adventurous spirit. He spent his days exploring the mountains and helping those in need, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Tragically, he met his end in an icefall alongside his best friend Tanner Sherpa, leaving behind a legacy of courage and friendship.

In his lifetime, Braxton Williamson achieved great heights and touched the lives of many. He will be remembered for his bravery, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. May he rest in peace, reunited with his loved ones in the great beyond.
