Brandon Lister, born on June 30, 1980, passed away on June 3, 2023. He was born and resided in Dallas, Texas. Brandon led a life full of purpose and meaning. Born to loving parents, Carla Keeling and Brandon Lister Sr. in Dallas, TX, he grew up in a humble household where he was instilled with strong values and principles that guided him throughout his life.
After Brandon graduated from Kimball High School in 1998 he attended Dallas College specializing in welding technology. After becoming certified by the American Welding Society, he went on to become a welder kickstarting a 20 year career, living out his passion and dreams doing what he loved. Brandon was a man of many talents and interests. He enjoyed playing chess and often spent hours engrossed in a game with his friends and family. He was also an avid reader and had an insatiable thirst for knowledge, which drove him to explore various subjects and topics. Despite his busy work schedule, Brandon always found time for his loved ones.
He cherished every moment spent with his family and was always there to offer his support and guidance. Brandon was a loving and caring friend, whom had hopes of starting a family of his own before his untimely passing. He was predeceased by Brandon Lister Sr. (Father). He is survived by Carla Keeling (Mother), Jimmy Lister (Brother), Evie Keeling (Brother) and a host of loved family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
Brandon, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again. The song is ended but the melody remains.
