Booker T. Carter, 80, of Richmond Virginia, was called home on April 22, 2022. Booker was born on July 09, 1941 to James Motley Carter and Deborah Elizabeth Carter in Ashland Virginia where he grew up and attended Patrick Henry high school. He was known for being a very avid student as well as a great athlete. Booker was also very involved in church from a young age and attended Brown Grove Baptist Church with his mother and father.

Upon graduating Booker T joined the army and served for four years in Italy before returning home to settle down and marry Iris Cotman Carter. They had one son named George Alvin Carter. Booker T and Iris made quite a living cultivating shrubbery and gardening until her passing at which time he relocated to Savannah Georgia where he continued to spread his joy and love for the Lord thru his faith and ministry, he is survived by his three grandchildren, Dominic Rydell Carter (38) George Leshaun Carter (35) Nikita Reye Carter (32)
