Zarbock, 73, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Liberty House in Fond du Lac.She was born on November 23, 1943, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of David and Esther R. Kirschenstein Sturtz. She was confirmed on April 14, 1957, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church. She graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School, Class of 1961.On June 29, 1963, she married David E. Zarbock in Fond du Lac at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church. They were married for 52 years. Bonny worked for Wisconsin Power and Light Company/Alliant Energy from 1961-1964 and 1978-1999. In between those years, she was a homemaker and also provided child care in her home. Bonny was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the adult choir from 1957-2014, and was a wedding and funeral soloist. She was a member of the Altar Guild, Ladies Evening Circle, served as president of the Lutheran Girl Pioneer Council, secretary of the Christian Education Society, and volunteered many hours at church until 2015.She was a charter member of the Winnebago Lutheran Chorale, now known as Joyful Witness, and sang in a ladies quartet in the 1980's, W.O.T.Z., formed through friendships in this chorale. She was also a member of the U.W. Extension Homemakers in the 1970's.She is survived by her five children: Daniel Zarbock of Yuma, Arizona, Julie (Chuck) Dodge of Allenton, Joy (Brian) Schwark of Fond du Lac, Beth (Jerry) Micke of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Rebecca (Terry) Zimmerman of St. Cloud, Wisconsin; and seven grandchildren: Samuel Dodge, Maggie and Eric Schwark, Erika and Erin Micke, and Ben and Lucas Zimmerman.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David, on January 24, 2016; a sister, Betty (Eugene) Rusch, Sr.; her in-laws: George and Hazel Zarbock; and her brother-in-law, Thomas Zarbock.VISITATION: The visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, and on Friday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 South Main Street, Fond du Lac.SERVICE: The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael J. Zuberbier officiating.Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to St. Peter's Ev.
