With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Bonnie Denise Miller, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who passed away peacefully at her home on August 1, 2026. Born in 1960, Bonnie lived a life filled with kindness, compassion, generosity, and an unwavering love for her family and community.
Bonnie was the devoted wife of Ray Hays Miller, with whom she shared 27 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life rooted in love, faith, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
She was a proud and loving mother to Matthew Hays and Steffani Miller, and a deeply devoted grandmother to her six beloved grandchildren: Devin Miller, Courtney Miller, Hunter Hays, Austyn Hays, Mayson Hays, and Christian Hays. Her family was the greatest joy of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved.
Bonnie was well known and deeply loved throughout the Lock Haven, Pennsylvania community. She faithfully dedicated 20 years of service to Walmart before retiring in 2020. She was admired for her dedication, warm smile, and caring heart, leaving a lasting impression on coworkers and everyone she met.
Outside of work, Bonnie found great purpose in serving others. She generously volunteered her time helping homeless shelters, believing everyone deserved kindness, hope, and compassion. Her selfless spirit touched countless lives and reflected the love she carried in her heart.
Bonnie also had a lifelong love of baseball. She enjoyed watching games, cheering on her favorite teams, and sharing those moments with family and friends. Her enthusiasm for the sport brought joy to many gatherings and created memories that will be cherished forever.
Bonnie will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering strength, generous heart, and unconditional love. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and cared for. Her legacy of compassion and selflessness will continue to live on through her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we are grateful for the years we were blessed to share with Bonnie. We find comfort in knowing she passed peacefully and leaves behind a legacy of love that will never fade.
Bonnie Denise Miller will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace. A celebration of life will be held at 24 N 2nd St, New Freedom, PA 17349 at 3:00 Pm on Sunday August 9th
