Bonnie Freeman Bailey1953 - 2017Bonnie Bailey of Milton, passed away on October 28, 2017 from Ovarian Cancer. She was born on Easter Sunday, April 5, 1953 in Brewton, AL. She was proceeded in death by her grandmother, Velvie Watson Freeman and her brother, Michael Freeman, both of Milton.She is survived by her husband, Richard Bailey and son, Michael (Jennifer) Bailey, both of Milton; daughter, Kristin Bailey of Tallahassee; two grandchildren, Aaron and Elaina and two great-granddaughters, Isabella and Elizabeth, of Milton; and mother, Audrey Cook, of Chumuckla. She also has a large extended family residing in the local area.Bonnie was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2013 and was an inspiration to other cancer patients throughout her journey. The family would like to give special thanks to the Sacred Heart Cancer Center for the wonderful care and compassion during the last four and half years. Special thanks to Dr. Thomas Sunnenberg for his wonderful way of medical care that made the family comfortable. We would also like to give our thanks to Covenant Hospice for their wonderful way of helping families cope with the final months of a loved one's life.Arrangements are entrusted to Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton.
