Bonita L. Goethe, was born on September 14th, 1973 in Gary, Indiana to the late Erma Robinson and Laverne Thompson.

She attended Roosevelt High School and furthered her education by attending Ivy Tech Community College.

Bonita was affectionately known to her family as "Nita"

She confessed Christ at an early age and under the leadership of Rev. Charles Barnette. Bonita, married the love of her life Maurice Goethe on December 4th, 2016 and was baptized on the same day under the leadership of Apostle Isiah King Sr. of Salvation Free Christian Fellowship Church where she was a member.

Bonita was preceded in death by her parents Erma Robinson and Laverne Thompson.

Nita, was loved by innumerable people with her infectious smile, she lived her life to the fullest and made an impact on everyone she encountered, even as her health began to decline she still managed to smile! She leaves behind to celebrate her legacy loving husband Maurice Goethe, father Deacon John Robinson. three sisters Natalie Sanford, Valencia Taylor and Carmen (Lee)Ewing. three brothers Manuel (Samantha) Wood Michael, and James (Traci) Robinson, one sister in love Brenda (Mark) Swann and brother in love William Goethe, (nieces) Nicole, Latoya, Shanae, Jessica, Olivia, Ke'Ondra, Ke'Aiara, Jakeyla, Mayia, and Sherita. (nephews) JaQuan, Keilon, Gregory, Zamare, Zion and a host of other relatives and friends are left behinds to cherish her memory including one special aunt Regina Johsnon and favorite cousin Jeanetta Golden.
