Bobby Flores was born on October 9, 1955, in Caldwell, ID. He passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Bobby was raised in Fresno, CA. He attended Herndon Elementary School and Central High School. In his early years, he was employed throughout the United States working in the harvest. He returned to Fresno and began a career as a mechanic. Bobby enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, riding his Gold Wing motorcycle and making things work. He especially enjoyed people, many came to him for advice, many came for help with their cars, but most came for his friendship. As one person said "A best friend to all, caring, generous, loving to all he met. The kind of person you want in your life as a close friend for eternity." Bobby was a kind and loving father. He loved being with his children and grandchildren, and they loved being with him. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Valeriano Flores; his sisters, Melody Gonzales, and Christine Flores; his brothers, Leeroy and McCoy Flores. He is survived by his long time companion, Tracey Henderson; his daughter, Misty Mae Salwasser; son, Valeriano Anthony Flores; his grandchildren, Michael, George, Jessica, and Skye; his mother, Betty Jo Murphy; sisters, Valeria Gamez, and Dolly Ryder; and many nieces and nephews, who loved, respected and enjoyed a close relationship with their uncle Bobby. Visitation will be held at Fresno Funeral Home, 1136 A Street, Fresno, CA 93706, on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 7608 W. Herndon Ave., Fresno, CA 93723, on Saturday October 22, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.
