Bob L. HinaZANESVILLE: Bob L. Hina, 84, of Zanesville, formerly of Roseville, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at his residence. Bob was born on July 17, 1928, in Crooksville, Ohio, to the late Edgar L. and Beulah Barringer Hina. Bob had worked at McCoy Pottery for 15 years and then was employed for 30 years at Zanesville Mold. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Flint Glass Union and a 59 year member of Lafayette Lodge #79. The outdoors was very important to Bob especially hunting and his dogs.Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Doris Ault Hina, whom he married on October 8, 1947, in Greenup, KY.; and three brothers, Roy Hina of Zanesville, John (Rose) Hina of Roseville and Gerald (Linda) Hina of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Hina; and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hina and Myra Hina. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE where Masonic services will be held at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Mark Combs officiating.
