It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Trojacek Jr. "Bobby", a father, faithful friend, and member of the Longview community. Bobby was born on May 18, 1961, in Waxahachie, Texas, and his departure from this world was unexpected on September 27, 2023.

Arrangements were handled by East Texas Funeral Home in Longview, Texas.

Bobby was a true Texan through and through. He loved his hometown of Ennis, TX. He attended Ennis High School, where he graduated in 1979.

He was survived in death by his daughter, Brandi Laymon and her husband Michael Laymon Sr. , his sisters, Sharon Parma and Jeanne Trojacek Nyberg, his ex wife Judy Trojacek, along with his nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Bob Trojacek Sr. and Michael W. Chapman Jr.

He found his fulfillment in life from working on cars and just about anything to do with them. He was a huge fan and dedicated fan of Nascar.

Bobby will be remembered as a kind-hearted and funny individual. His infectious smile touched the lives of many people.

A memorial service in honor of Bobby's life will be held next year on May 18, 2024. Those who were touched by Bobby's presence are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects.

Bobby's departure has left an indelible void that will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. May his memory serve as a reminder to each of us to cherish every moment, value our loved ones, and make a positive impact on the world around us.
