Candee, BoBo (William Egan) Candee , of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, died Monday evening October 16th, 2017 at the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac with family at his side.Bo was born on December 13, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the third of Richard and Vi Egan Candee's nine children. Bo was raised in Wisconsin and Florida. He attended Riverside High School and Campbellsport High School and attended St. Norbert College.Bo was a free spirit who loved the outdoors and was a very gifted athlete in several sports. As a sophomore he was a city champion swimmer for the 200 yard freestyle; as a junior, he was a founding member of the renowned Campbellsport wrestling team; he was an outstanding football player and track athlete. Bo was a serial entrepreneur, happiest talking to anyone and everyone about his latest special project or product. Bo was a delight to his numerous nieces and nephews, teaching many marksmanship and other outdoor pursuits. He was known for a mind full of interesting facts and trivia, historic details as well as countless stories. In many ways Bones was a very charismatic individual and larger than life. His enthusiasm knew no bounds. His was a creative and ebullient personality. His last years were spent with Bonnie enjoying their horses on the trails of the Kettle Moraine.Bo is survived by his partner, Bonnie Pierringer, her sons James and Joseph. He is also survived by his son Clayton (Anna) Clavette and granddaughter Chloe, Dallas TX. Further survivors include his stepmother Carol (Gregory) Candee, Fond du Lac, WI; his siblings, Kenneth, Lomira, WI; Richard "Nick" (Dr.Linda Brown), Boston, MA; Rees, Scottsdale, AZ; Michael, Kenosha, WI; Mary Ellen Candee (Jeff Weigel) San Antonio, TX; Susan, Brownsville, WI; Kathleen (Janet Koester), Campbellsport, WI, Chris (Sally) Campbellsport, WI, stepbrothers Peter Gregory, Hartland, VT; James Gregory, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; stepsister Victoria Gregory, Minneapolis, MN. Bo will be greatly missed by his 15 nieces and nephews, six grand nieces and nephews, and countless friends from every direction. And his much loved Tennessee Walker, Jazz.Bo was preceded in death by his father (2000) and mother (2011).Visitation will be at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport 3 to 6 pm on Tuesday October 24th, with a memorial following. Bo and his family deeply appreciated the heartfelt care he and the family received at the Hospice Home of Hope.
