Billy Joe MayfieldCunningham, TNBilly Joe Mayfield, age 70, of Cunningham, passed away on March 23, 2017 at his residence.A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 26, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday with a Masonic Service following at 7 p.m. and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Sunday. Billy was born on December 4, 1946 in Clarksville, the son of the late William McKinley Mayfield and Fredonia Bryant Mayfield. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Earl Mayfield, Clayton Mayfield, Jessie Britt and J.C. Britt.He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and McAllister Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Baggett Mayfield; son, Jody Mayfield; daughter, Heather (John) McIntyre; grandchildren, Austin Mayfield, Makayla Mayfield, and Kristen McIntyre; great-grandchild, Julianna Padgett; sisters, Peggy (Donald) Hodges and Doris Farmer.
