We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Billy Mungo, who was born on March 3, 1946 in Pageland, South Carolina and passed away on October 19, 2025.

Billy was the beloved son of Farlie and Janie Wright Mungo. He is survived by his four children: Audrey Mungo Bradford (spouse Thomas Bradford), Latosha Mungo, Billy Russell Mungo, and Michael Mungo. He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren; Thomas, Tre'mon, Taqwanjelique, Tempsett, Russell, Laquaisha and Quanesha, all of Charlotte, N.C.;N.C.; two devoted brothers, Mr. Hubert (Helen) Mungo of Charlotte, N.C. and Mr. Howard (Betty) Mungo of Jefferson; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Ann Mungo Vinson of the home and Lillie Margaret Mungo of Pageland; three aunts, Mayo Wright of Jefferson, Judy (Luther) Benson and Betty Merriman of Pageland; two uncles, Mr. Robert Adams and Mr.Johnnie Adams of New York; and other relatives and friends.

Billy will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family. He was a dedicated father and grandfather who always put his loved ones first. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
