Billy Jones, age 35, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep on January 22, 2026. He was born on August 16, 1990, in Honesdale, Pennsylvania.

Billy was a beloved son, brother, uncle, devoted father, and friend. His passing came as a complete shock to all who loved him. Despite a full medical evaluation, his family has been left without a clear cause, and nothing could have prepared them for losing him so suddenly and at such a young age.

Above all else, Billy was an incredibly loving and devoted father to his daughter, Elizabeth Jones, who had just celebrated her 6th birthday a few weeks before his passing. Billy often said of her, “That girl, she’s my whole world,” and anyone who knew him could see that Elizabeth truly was the center of his life. He found his greatest purpose and pride in fatherhood, and he was a constant, steady presence in her life. His family is grateful that Elizabeth was able to spend her birthday and the holidays wrapped in her dad’s love—precious moments that will always be cherished.

Billy was a quiet, gentle soul who showed his love through loyalty, presence, and care for those closest to him. He found joy in simple moments—time with family, music playing nearby, and being a steady father to Elizabeth. Family meant everything to Billy, and his life was marked by kindness, humility, and an unwavering devotion to those he held close.

Billy was an active and faithful member of Christ Episcopal Church in Forest City, Pennsylvania, where he found comfort, community, and strength in his faith.

Billy is survived by his parents Jane and Bob; his beloved daughter, Elizabeth; and many siblings, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.
