It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Billy Applegate, who was born on December 5, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He passed away on December 29, 2025, due to natural causes.

Billy was the beloved son of Eugene and Pamela Applegate. He was the loving husband of Brenda Applegate, whom he married in the year 1980. Together, they had two children, Billy and Laserik Applegate. Billy was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren.

Billy attended Orr High School and graduated in 1966. He was a dedicated father, husband, and grandfather who always put his family first. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
