It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill Rutter, who peacefully passed away on June 2, 2024, in Bluff City, Tennessee, United States.

Bill was born on February 2, 1928, to Eustice and Margret Rutter. He grew up in Bluff City and attended Mary Hughes High School.

In 1970, Bill married the love of his life, Mary, and together they raised four children: Harold (spouse Nancy), John (spouse Donna), Guy, and David. He was a loving husband and devoted father who always put his family first.

Bill was a beloved grandfather to six grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.

Throughout his life, Bill was known for his kind heart, warm smile, and sense of humor. He had a passion for gardening and spent countless hours tending to his beautiful flowers.

Bill will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
