Bill HornerBill Horner, age 93, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at his home on Monday, March 6, 2017. Mr. Horner, son of Loren Eugene and Alma (White) Horner, was born on June 24, 1923, in Cassville. He was a lifetime resident of Barry County.Bill married Adella Gowen on May 16, 1953, at her parents' house in Washburn. Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Adella Horner, of the home; two sons, David Horner and his wife Kim, and Jon Horner and his wife Darla, all of Cassville; five grandchildren; one step-grandson; three great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; two nephews and four nieces. Memorial contributions may be made to Cassville United Methodist Church and/or Mercy Hospice and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the Cassville United Methodist Church with Pastor Andy Lambel officiating; burial to follow at the Horner Cemetery in Cassville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8th, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory.
