Beverly PalmerSt GeorgeBeverly Palmer, age 88, passed away on September 20, 2017. She was born on September 27, 1928 to John and Metta Weston in Milford, UT. Beverly was married to Paul Palmer and had two children, Paul Palmer Jr and Sharon Gifford. Beverly was raised in Milford, where she went to school and spent her childhood growing up with her loving family. Some of her favorite memories involve growing up with her nephews and trips to Puffer Lake. After school, Beverly attended college to become a secretary. She lived in Sacramento for a time, before settling down in Las Vegas to raise her family. After retirement, she moved back to St. George to be closer to family and return to Utah. Beverly was a faithful member of the Mormon Church and served in several roles. Her favorite job was as ward librarian and she loved working with everyone. Beverly also enjoyed doing her family's genealogy and studying the past. She had a great appreciation for her family and always did anything she could to help them. Beverly's grandchildren were her world and she cherished every moment she had with them. . Beverly is survived by her daughter, Sharon; and grandchildren Joshua, Rachael, and Ashley Gifford. The family would like to thank Zion's Way hospice, the nurses, Relief Society/Church members, and many others who helped Beverly; especially in the past few years. Beverly was a very outgoing person who appreciated all the love and support shown on her behalf. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 11:00 AM at the Milford LDS Church.
