We are saddened to announce the passing of Beverly Mitchell, who left us on January 22, 2025, in Wilson, North Carolina, United States. She was born on August 17, 1947, to her parents Walter and Peggy Jones.

Beverly was a loving wife to Henry Mitchell, whom she married in 25. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Kristy Hemby (spouse Jace) and Lisa Mitchell. She also leaves behind four grandchildren.

Beverly attended Fike High School and graduated in 1967. She furthered her education at Barton College, graduating in 1971. She enjoyed studying and learning throughout her life.

Throughout her career, Beverly worked as a Registered Nurse, providing care and comfort to those in need. She dedicated many years to her profession before retiring in 2003.

When she wasn't busy saving lives, Beverly had a passion for singing and gardening. Her beautiful voice could often be heard in the garden as she tended to her plants and flowers.

Despite her busy schedule, Beverly always made time for her family and friends, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Her sense of humor was infectious, and she had a talent for making people smile.

Although we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing that Beverly passed away peacefully from natural causes. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and her memory will live on through the love she shared with all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Beverly Mitchell. You will be dearly missed.
