Beverley Carlisle KaperakBeverley Ann (Carlisle) Kaperak, of Tallahassee, FL passed away, surrounded by family and friends on September 7, 2017. Beverley was 70 years old.Beverley is survived by her Husband, Joseph Kaperak; her children Jeffrey (Pamela) of Tallahassee, FL, John (Lenette) of Jacksonville, FL, Mark (Jovelyn) of Pfullendorf, Germany, and Ann of Tallahassee, FL; her two grandchildren Luke and Arria; and her four sisters Judy Morris of Lincoln, CA; Kathleen Cantrall of Brookings, OR; Suzanne Carlisle of Napa, CA; and Mary Jane Bechtolt of Shelton, WA.Beverley was born on December 6, 1946 in Yreka, CA to Phillip Jerry Carlisle and Elizabeth Ann (Lyons) Carlisle. She attended the San Jose State University, graduating with a degree in English. Beverley and Joseph met in 1968 and were married in 1969. In 1972, the young couple and their son, Jeffrey, moved to Jacksonville, FL, where their children John, Mark and Ann were born. Once her children were old enough to attend school, Beverley started a fulfilling career as a teacher in the Catholic School System at St. Matthews. In 1993, Joseph and Beverley moved to Tallahassee, FL, where she continued working as a teacher at Trinity Catholic School, until she retired in 2010. In addition to her family and work, Beverley was actively involved in the Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Elizabeth Ann Seton Circle, where she made many lasting friendships. Upon retirement from teaching, Beverley and Joseph spent time traveling and spoiling their grandchildren. Her family, friends, and work provided her with a rich full life, and leaves a legacy of people that will remember her always.The family will receive friends Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a rosary service to held at 7:30 PM at the Bevis Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be held on the following morning, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:30 AM, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tallahassee.
