Beulah Jean BrantBeulah Jean Brant, 83, of West Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in St. Elizabeth East.She was born on October 14, 1931 in Montmorenci, to the late Albert L. and Beulah Burl (Pierce) Smith.Beulah graduated from Montmorenci High School in 1949.She worked for Purdue University as a secretary for 15 years and had previously worked for National Homes and Woolco.Beulah enjoyed knitting, euchre, and socializing with her neighbors. Surviving are her sons, Larry Brant of Clarks Hill and Jerry Brant of Monon; a brother, Jim (Margaret) Smith of Lafayette; and sisters, Ruth Pipher of Indianapolis and Nancy (Paul) Ramsey of Alabama. Also surviving are her granddaughter, Sarah Byroad of Monon; grandsons, Joshua Roy Brant and Russell Allen Brant, both of Lafayette; and her great-grandchildren; Adriana, Valencia, and Catalina. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Smith.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Entombment following in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
