Betzy Rivera, 66, passed on October 05, 2022. She was born to Evaristo, Rivera and Miriam Dejesus in The Bronx, New York on August 11, 1956.

She gave birth to Three children but raised Four Eliot Vasquez, Madelyn Martinez, Miriam Martinez, Shatonna Grant. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren David Smith III, Damien Smith, Destiny Smith, Dashawn Smith, Kayla Murray, Raymond Murray Jr, Eric Montalvo Jr And Jossie Rivera. 

She was loved by many she was a free soul and walked many paths in life she graduated from Monroe college with an Associates degree in computer science. She never judged anyone she always said(You never know where you will end up or what tommorow has instore for you) She was wise beyond her years as she had a colorful life and had to figure things out quickly. She had a big heart she would never close her doors on anyone and even if we did'nt have much she would never deny anyone in need of food. She loved her brother's dearly Evaristo Jr, Richard Acevedo, Rodney Acevedo. And so she loved and helped raise thier children as her own Rodney Acevedo Jr, Wilfred Acevedo, Richard Acevedo Jr, Bryan Acevedo. There wasnt anything my mother would'nt do for her family. To put it in few words if you knew Betzy Rivera you loved her she was a beautiful person inside and out.
