Vanderheyden, BettyBetty Vanderheyden, 91, Green Bay, died Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born on March 6, 1926, in Green Bay to Philip and Marie Vanderlinden.Betty married Robert Vanderheyden and he preceded her in death. She belonged to St. John the Baptist Parish. Betty liked flowers and was a member of the Green Bay Botanical Gardens. She was active with her friends and was also a member of a local book club.Betty is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue Vanderheyden; grandchildren, Holly and Sean; great-grandson, Jude; nephews Bill Phillips, and Bob (Adele) Phillips; nieces, Pat (Art) VanGompel and Nancy Phillips.She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Mike; and her siblings.Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln. and Glendale Ave.), from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.
