Betty Thresher Mays, 73, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on April 21, 2023. She was born on February 7, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of Herbert and Dimple (Ramsay) Thresher. Betty was a beloved mother and sister, but the title she enjoyed most was Memaw to her four grandchildren, a name bestowed on her by her oldest grandchild, Josh.

She is survived by her sister Patricia Coblentz, sons Chris and Jason Mays, and grandchildren Joshua Jasper, Alex Mays, Milana Mays, and Samantha Mays.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Dimple Thresher, her sister Carolyn Agee, her brother-in-law Terry Coblentz, and her niece Amy Coblentz.

There will be no public service. There's no better way to remember Betty than to send a few dollars to your favorite charity.
