Betty J. Rosenwald1930 - 2013Betty J. Rosenwald, 83, formerly of Kenosha, late of Zion, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at the Hospice House.She was born on Sept. 22, 1930, to the late Lee and Claire (Brunette) Bougneit in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. She received her teaching degree in Milwaukee.On July 31, 1981 she married Glenn F. Rosenwald in Hawaii. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2012.Betty was a teacher for Head Start for many years and was also a social worker.Betty enjoyed playing Scrabble with the neighborhood ladies, reading and was a snowbird. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. While in Florida, she worked as a travel agent planning trips.Betty is survived by her children, Gary (Jeni) Miller of Zion, Gayle Miller of Sacramento, Calif., Tim (Andrea) Miller of Zion and Greg (Marlene) Miller of Spring Grove, Ill.; her brother, Jerry (Karen) Bougneit of Sun City, Ariz.; her sisters, Ruth Pitch of California and Carol (Hal) Greer of Simi Valley, Calif.; her eight grandchildren, Shannon, Melissa, Tyler, Lauren, Summerlyn, Hannah, Brittany and Jeremy and her ten great grandchildren Cassie, Alli, Emma, Cynthia, Nathaniel, Olivia, Cali, Austin, Lilly, Emme, and one on the way.She is preceded in death by a great grandson Patrick, her brother Clayton and her sister Anita.A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 11:30 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
