Betty J. McDaniel1923 - 2016Betty J. McDaniel, 93, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at St. Catherine's Hospital.She was born on Sept. 14, 1923, to the late James L. and Julia (Fischer) DeNio in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.On Jan. 8, 1955, she married Harley D. McDaniel at St. Mary's Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1999.Betty worked at John Mansville for 16 years.Betty was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church.Betty enjoyed reading, cooking and cleaning. Betty was a huge Josh Grobin fan and loved going to his concerts. The last concert she went to she actually got his autograph.Betty is survived by her loving children Duane (Holly) McDaniel of Waukesha and Donna (Mark) Rooney of Greenfield, her grandchildren Sarah McDaniel, Rebecca McDaniel and Charles Rooney and her brother Jim DeNio of Kenosha. She is preceded in death by her brothers Eugene and Robert and her sister June Shemanske.Funeral Services for Betty will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
