Betty Mae Epps, 89, passed on February 12, 2023. She was born to James Smith and Hatti Smith on October 01, 1933.

She married Peter Epps in 1963 and they lived together in Asheboro, North Carolina. Together they raised 10 children. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Betty with her infectious smile was always happy and loving. She was always willing to help anyone known or unknown to her. Betty the middle child of 4 siblings enjoyed nothing more than family, her motto "Family First" Also dear to Betty's heart was her love for singing. She wrote produced and created her own music.

Betty was the person to literally lay down her life for her neighbor. She's help strangers as though she was helping friends. Always willing and wanting to lend a help and hand to those in need.
