Betty Gilbert, 63, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed on September 22, 202. Betty was born on November 30, 1958. She was adopted by Myrtle Cottrell-Ishmael at the age of 4. Betty had a total of 13 brothers and sisters, but we're only able to meet 3. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Cottrell-Ishmael, brother Richie Ishmael, husband Wilbur Gilbert and several other family members.

She is survived by her only child, daughter Judith Goshien (Cody), granddaughter Samantha Rochelle (Brycent), grandson Briar Kilburn (Nadine) and her pride and joy grandchildren Gavin, Laney, Noah, Kyndall and Ryder. 

We will have a memorial at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery on Saturday, October 1, 2022. It was her wish to be laid next to her late husband, so she will be with him at her eternal resting place. We will have a small reception, immediately following. 

As well all knew and loved Betty, she never preferred to dress up. So, we ask that all attendees and visitors wear blue jeans!
