Collis, Betty Lou 88 of Peoria, Arizona, passed away on May 24th, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Betty Lou was born on May 7th, 1929 in Odebolt, Iowa to Raymond Roland Boughton and Josephine Odeen Boughton. Betty was a wife, mother and homemaker for her husband, Duane Alvin Collis and five children. She worked with Duane as a Real Estate agent for many years before becoming a caregiver to the elderly. She excelled at being a caregiver due to her loving and compassionate nature and strong work ethic and her skills were always in high demand. She faced each day with a smile on her face, a sunny disposition and a sense of optimism that inspired all who knew her. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Duane Collis and her son Jeffrey Dean Collis. She is survived by her remaining children John Collis, Jeanine Williams, Jerry Collis, Jim Collis (Pam Collis) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, June 19th at 10:00am at Central United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
