Betty Jean Evans-Howard, 91, of Newnan, Georgia, peacefully passed on October 21, 2023 in her home. Betty Jean was born on January 18, 1932 to the late Birda Lee Evans and Simp Evans of Washington, Georgia. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Evans III; children Floyd Evans II. of Toledo, Diana Evans-Carter of Atlanta, and Christopher Hadley II of Roswell. Betty leaves behind two sons and a daughter (Clarita Ann Evans-Townsend, Rodney Barnes, and Aiken Evans; all of Newnan, Georgia. Mrs. Evans also leaves behind multitude of great and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, and a host of many friends and family members. Betty dedicated her life as a longtime member of her life church to Newnan United Methodist Church.
