Betty Jean Davis was born and raised in Hartsville, South Carolina. She is the daughter of late Maude and Jack Robinson born June 9th, 1948.

Betty had 3 step-children, Robin Davis Atkinson of Latta, S.C., Lisa Davis Smith of Marion, S.C., and Vicki Davis Brown of Hartsville, S.C. She was preceeded in death by the late Michael Davis.
