It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Brown-Strickland, who was born on April 2, 1943, and passed away on February 3, 2025, in Mesquite, Texas, United States. She was the beloved daughter of Mary Evelyn Brooks and loving spouse of Escoe R. Strickland, whom she married in 1991.

Betty is survived by her two children, Eddie Dewayne Albert-Hall and Sandra Rene' Brown, as well as her grandchild. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School and had a successful career as an Apartment Manager before retiring in 2000.

Betty had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy, including drawing, painting, gardening, interior design, and ballroom dancing. She will be remembered for her creativity, elegance, and passion for life.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
