Betty Jean Ward, 73, of Taylors, South Carolina, passed on August 24, 2023. Betty Jean was born on February 16, 1932.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Kenneth "Ken" Ward of 100. Tigerville Elementary School Rd.

She was also predeceased by her parents James Davis Bates and Maude Irene Cox Bates. She is predeceased by her only sister. Ruth Ellen Bates Mitchell.

She is Survived by her only niece,, Tonya Sabrina Mitchell of Taylor, SC. She is survived by many cousins.

She was a member of Washington Baptist Church on Hwy 14, Greer SC
