It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Spellman, who left this world on October 21, 2024, in Denmark, South Carolina. Born on September 12, 1954, Betty lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by love and laughter.

Betty was known for her infectious smile, her generous spirit, and her love for her family. She was a devoted wife to Floyd Spellman and a loving mother to her three children, Sandra Ann Spellman, Cherota Dickerson, and Geraldine Wilson. Her sister Debra Jean Taylor and her brothers Leroy Dickerson, Sammy Lee Dickerson, John Dickerson and Matthew Dickerson.

She had a way of brightening any room she entered and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

While we mourn the loss of Betty, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, surrounded by love and light. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.
