Betty Jane Sarchet, 90, of Clinton, formerly of Vandalia, passed away at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016, at her home.Graveside services will be held at noon on Thursday at Pilcher Cemetery in rural Brownstown. She loved to read, sew and fish.She is survived by her children, Paula Mason, Brian Sarchet and David Sarchet of Clinton, Debra and her husband George Huber of Vandalia, Danny Sarchet of Vandalia, and Steve Sarchet of Salem; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, four brothers and two sisters.
