With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Betty Davis on April 15, 2024, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She was born on December 20, 1950, to her late parents Oka Murphy and Emma Davis.

Betty was a loving wife to her late husband, James A Davis Jr., to whom she was married since 1991. Together, they raised five wonderful children: Sabrina, Laura, Keysha, Beverly, and Irish. She was also a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren.

Betty had a contagious smile and a heart of gold. She always lit up the room with her presence and brought joy to everyone she met. She had a passion for cooking and loved hosting family gatherings where she would serve her delicious homemade meals.

Despite her battle with cancer, Betty remained strong and positive until the very end. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Rest in peace, dear Betty. You will always be our sunshine.
