It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to our beloved Bettie Slaughter. Bettie was born on March 18, 1973 in Garland, Texas, and departed this world on April 4, 2023.

Bettie was a force to be reckoned with. She had a contagious laugh that could light up any room and a smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she always had a positive outlook on life.

Although Bettie was taken from us far too soon, she lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel and explore new places, and was always up for an adventure. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and her family and friends were always excited to try her latest creations.

Bettie was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She leave behind 7 children Deshawn Slaughter, Fred Slaughter, Calissia Slaughter, Shaderion Slaughter, Daquaris Slaughter, Jerry Rutherford, and Tambrisha Rutherford. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she brought joy and happiness to so many people during her time with us.
