She was raised in Pocatello, graduating from Pocatello High School. She then moved to Oregon then Lincoln, Nebraska where she resided until her passing.She married Richard Brian Allen and together they raised a daughter, April Dawn Baker Allen and a son, Richard Jody Allen. Richard passed away in 2014.Betsy worked as a secretary in the Insurance industry and was employed at Verizon at the time of her passing.She was a member of the LDS Church.Betsy loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and gardening.She is survived by her father, Russell Lee Baker of Pocatello, ID, mother, Lela Lawson Baker of Oregon, step-mother, Jewel A. Butcher of Pocatello, ID; daughter, April Dawn Baker Allen, son, Richard Jody Allen; grandchildren, Kaleight, Tristan, Nicholas, and Olivia. She is also survived by her brother, Vincent J. Scott Baker of Monroe, Michigan; step-brothers and step-sisters, Roy Kirkland, Bobbi McClimans, Rod Kirkland, Betty Jo Bingman, and Tina Capell. She is preceded in death by a brother, Jody Lee Baker.Cremation has taken place in Lincoln, Nebraska.
