Bethel Ann JohnsonMesquite, NVBethel Ann Johnson died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 22, 2017 in Mesquite, Nevada at the age of 73.Bethel Ann Johnson was born on April 14, 1944 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa to Carl & Violet Orness. She graduated from Ft. Dodge High School in 1962. She married Oliver John Johnson, they met on a blind date at the State Basketball Championship in Perry, Iowa, and were married in 1965. After marrying and moving to several states, the happy couple settled in Englewood, Colorado, where they lived happily for over 40 years. She was blessed with four grandchildren; Kayla (24), Amanda (21), Patrick (20) and Courtney (18).Bethel is survived by her husband Oliver of Mesquite, Nevada, her son James Johnson and his wife Michelle of Parker, Colorado, her son Robert Johnson and his wife Laura of Littleton, Colorado, and her daughter Debra Ford of Aurora, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her father Carl, her mother Violet, her brother Neil, her sister Janice and her sister AletaA Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Mesquite Lutheran Church at 10:30am, with a Celebration of Life reception to follow. Pastor Travis Lauterbuch will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bethel's life.
