We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Bethany Todd, who was born on February 24, 1947 in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. Bethany passed away on July 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Bethany was the daughter of Louis and Mary Adams. She was married to her devoted husband Willie Todd for 82 years. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Ester Todd-Johnson (Willie Johnson) and Avis Todd. A wonder loving grandmother to four grandchildren, Xavier Johnson (Cheyenne Johnson), Indigo Johnson, Brittany Smith (Daquan Smith), and Briana Smith. She was also a great-grandmother to a host of great-grandchildren.

Bethany was a dedicated homemaker who took pride in caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. She was known for her kind and nurturing spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her loved ones.

Bethany will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.

Funeral will be held at Center Rabun Baptist Church - 14116 SC-101, Gray Court, Sc 29645 on July 21, 2025 at 2 pm. The family will be at the family’s home in Gray Court, Sc
