Weinstein, Bessieanne Bessieanne Weinstein, 92, of Scottsdale, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Scottsdale. Mrs. Weinstein, a retired school teacher, was born on March 15, 1925 in Canton, Ohio. She taught school for 23 years and had degrees from NYU and Columbia University. She was also an actress. She was the creator of the disability program for school age children in Phoenix. She is survived by her husband, Howard Weinstein; sons, Dr. Bruce Krell, Douglas Krell; daughter, Wendy Goodman and four grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale with visitation 2 hours prior to services; also at the mortuary.
