Bessie Ross, 83, passed Monday, June 25, 2018. Bessie was born to Henry Lee Rivers, and Mindee Shaw, July 03, 1934 in Augusta, Georgia.

Bessie graduated from Butts County School District. She married Jeffery Ross Jr. in 1947. Bessie worked as a homemaker. She also volunteered at the 4H Club for 20 years and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Bessie is survived by 3 children: Lamon Clements (Ross) (Hulan Clements), Jeffery Ross Jr. (Louise Ross), and Robbie Davis. She also is survived by 5 grandchildren, Terry Ross, Maleyki Ross (Bogan) Fiance' Charles Robinson, Shan Davis, Quansheka Smith husband (Robert Penamon).
